    WXIN/WTTV-TV, a Nexstar Media Group station in Indianapolis is seeking a passionate, energetic and highly motivated new business leader. We need a proven Sales Executive that can adapt quickly & maximize sales on all of our on-air & digital platforms.


    •Develop new business partnerships for all stations & on all platforms

    •Maintain relationships and service new advertisers to continue/increase their spending

    •Sell and execute internet and digital projects and packages

    •Act as media specialist for clients

    •Complete requested reports in a thorough and timely manner

    •Thorough understanding of the station’s programming and competitive advantages

    •Deliver budgeted revenue goals as established by sales management

    •Other duties as assigned


    • Two years previous broadcast sales experience and college degree pred with focus on developmental and new direct business.  
    • Must have a high sense of urgency and an inner drive to want to be the best.
    • Strong work ethic and the ability to formulate and execute a daily plan is also a must.
    • This is a fast paced and fun business that requires persistence, organization,creativity, and interpersonal skills.
    • Candidate will possess an assertive, enthusiastic attitude and be self-motivated. 
    • Proven track record of prospecting and developing new business.
    • Knowledge of digital, social media & mobile platforms & the ability to communicate & demonstrate to prospective clients.
    • Meets or exceeds new business & digital budgets.
    • Compile and present comprehensive and creative sales presentations for all revenue platforms.
    • Completes requested reports in a thorough and timely manner. Exhibits a thorough understanding of the station’s programming and competitive advantages.
    • Represents the station in a professional manner.
    • Delivers budgeted revenue goals as established by sales management.
    • Maximizes revenue from existing accounts and meets or exceeds budget.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, computer, math and writing skills required. Must have valid driver’s license (or be able to get one.Equal Employment Opportunity
